A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about how to set goals that you can read here. It’s so important for us to clearly set out goals before we set out to tackle them. Why you ask? Well, because when we clearly define and set out goals, we are much more likely to actually follow through with them. Just think for example, if you had an idea to find a new job next year. But, what if you really pinpointed all the details of finding a new job, including a realistic timeline? You would be so much more likely to actually reach that goal. So, that’s why we’ve got to do SMART goal setting.
Many people, including myself, are visual learners. We enjoy charts, diagrams, pictures, and all that jazz. So, I decided to make an infographic about SMART goal setting. There you can see the acronym broken down piece by piece. I hope that it helps you!
When we use SMART goal setting, we are setting ourselves up for success. By clearly creating our goals, we can create a road map that leads us towards each milestone. In this way, we can be assured that we will achieve our goals. What can be better than that?
In this infographic, I included a quote by Brian Tracy. If you are really eager to learn about goal setting and how to achieve your goals, then I definitely suggest checking out his ideas. He has a great 12 step goal setting guide on his website now, so head on over to his site!
Check out my infographic on SMART goal setting. I find that it helps me to keep something like this next to my desk when I’m trying to work on my goals. It helps me to stay focused and on task! I hope that this infographic helps you. Of course, if you need any other help you can always reach out to me. I’d be more than happy to help you setting your goals 🙂 (You can download and print it here!)
